SDS CANADA: Study Direct Stream
Most of the Indian students prefer Canada as the destination for their International studies. Canada provides welcoming environment along with world-class education in the safe premises of the university. In the month of June 2018, the Student Partnership Program (SPP) is replaced with another interesting and advantageous program namely the Study Direct Stream (SDS). Under SDS few changes have been done.
In SDS, now as compared to SPP system, the new SDS has more choices of colleges. Now any colleges having DLI Number can enroll Indian students under SDS system. Earlier student was having limited list of 47 SPP colleges, so under the new system, student will be able to choose colleges & courses from better options. This will make study visa process more fast & effective.
Requirements for applying under SDS program
- One-year tuition fee payment
- Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of $10,000 form Scotia bank, a leading Canadian financial institution
- Acceptance letter from Designated Learning Institute
- Upfront medical examination
- IELTS - at least 6 for English, overall band of 6.0 with no individual band lower than 6.0
